Why I Named My Business 1014 Designs
I grew up in a small house at 1014 Wilder Avenue.
It wasn’t the biggest. It wasn’t fancy. But it was full of something most places don’t have anymore—real love, real lessons, and real values.
That little address raised me. My mom and dad, under that roof, poured everything they had into making me the man I am today. They taught me to say “yes ma’am” and “no sir,” to open doors for strangers, to treat people right—even when they don’t treat you the same.
They didn’t just talk about hard work—they showed it.
I remember my dad coming home covered in dust and sweat, still smiling, still making time to ask how my day was. And my mom? She made every little thing feel like a big deal—because she believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself.
They taught me how to show up for people. How to take pride in what I do. How to leave every space better than I found it.
